    3. Hello all list members Thought you would like to know that we now have over 150 subscribers on this list. As many of these are recent I thought it would be a good idea to reintroduce ourselves to each other. This list is already becoming known as a fun, succesful and very helpful place to be. Couple of points to make life fair for everyone – when replying to the list (unless it is a private answer) please remember to use your REPLY TO ALL key and not simply reply. This allows everyone to see your answer and keeps conversation flowing. A number of people have commented to me that they never see the answers! We have had a large number of succesful matches on this list – nice for folks to know. For the newcomers, welcome. I look after this list – not brilliantly but do my best. I am a Scot born and bred in Edinburgh and live in England. My father was the first of his family to be born away from the family home in Rogart. My Murray family came from Rhemusaig which is geographically in Rogart but comes under Dornoch parish. My Mackenzies are from Achillie and Torbreck, Rogart; my Mackays from Torbreck, Kinnauld and Achillie, Rogart. I am interested in all families in the Rogart, Dornoch and Golspie areas. I have lots of info on Murrays, Mackays, Mackenzies, Grants, Gordons, Duffs and numerous other names and am happy to do look ups for you. 3. Hi all Listers, I am mainly researching SUTHERLAND, ANDERSON, MacLEOD, GRANT and BAILLIE from the parish of Clyne. Ive picked up a lot of info on the parish I am happy to share. Particularly interested in contact with people with old placenames fron before the clearances in their records. I am building a web site for genealogy of the parish which I hope to have up soon. Have found a relative from USA from this list plus a lot of useful info. Thanks again to Christine for this site. Grant

    3. Hi, Christine, My mind is terribly muddled over how this group mailing works. Sometimes I "Reply All" and my own message comes back to me (as I would expect) - but sometimes not! Also, how do I initiate a new message to the group. So far, I am using "Reply All" even if it's not a reply. thanks, Mary Young
