    3. Hi Sheila, As Malcolm says NAS hold all the rcords of the Northern Lighthouse Board. You can consult the Register of Lighthouse Keepers in the Historical Search Room at Register House (if that's what they still call it?) in Princes St. The indexes are in the wee room off where the Will records are on the 1st floor (Ref. nlc4/1/1-5) and the microfilms are through beyond the enquiry desk in an unmarked, metal, filing-cabinet drawer. I was consulting them a few weeks ago. So long as you don't ask a novice (which I did) you will find them easily enough. Perhaps by now they will have put a label on the drawer with the m/films!! Apart from the registers I don't think they have much instantly available; other records have to be ordered from storage. Hope this helps.
