Donald GRANT Sex: M Marriage(s): Spouse: Janet MCKAY Marriage: 10 Dec 1848 Dornoch, Sutherland, Scotland But there is a Donald Grant who married a Janet Munro in 1786, are you sure her maiden name was McKay. What were your Donald and Janet's children's name's, maybe I can find them, and then at least you would have something to work with. Hello Robin, Thank you for your offer. The children of Donald GRANT & Janet McKAY were Mary 1788-1870, John 1790-1809 and Colin c.1792-1871 (my g.g.g.grandfather.) As to Q1. in my message, with a bit of help from Christine and another look at the map of Sutherland I found Rosebank in Clashmore (in the Parish of Dornoch).
