Hi All, I'm fairly new to genealogy, and would like to know what the IGI is in the last couple of messages? Is it International Genealogical Index? Yes, Darthy, IGI does stand for Internation Genealogical Index. A very useful tool but one that needs careful checking back to source - normally old parish registers.
