Looking for info on George MUNRO, blacksmith who was born in Scotland, place and date unknown. He married at Pictou, Nova Scotia on 25 Dec 1834, Margaret McKENZIE. Margaret McKenzie was born at Edderton, near Tain, Scotland circa 1808, parents George McKENZIE and Margaret ROSS. Margaret ROSS subsequently married John THOMPSON. Children of George Munro and Margaret McKenzie were Margaret, Ann, John, George Sinclair, Alexander William, Sutherland, and Jane, then possibly a William. George died 04 Feb 1854, possibly Albion Mines, Pictou County, Nova Scotia. George was living at East River, Pictou County at the time of his marriage and birth of the first child, subsequently living at Albion Mines. Parents of George Munro, blacksmith are possibly John and Ann (or Anne, Nancy etc, also possibly Ann Jane or variation) This is based on Scottish naming tradition which runs strongly in this family.
