Hi all I use FTM 10 and find it is a good program. I have some cd's of theirs so find that it is important to have the program as they are some very good cd's. We have had a strange week here in Sarnia, Ontario, yesterday the city was put under containment, as the chemical valley had lost its hydro and had released some dangerous chemicals into the air, the wind was coming directly toward the city so as a result the entire city was pretty much shut down with everyone locking windows and shutting down furnaces etc....even the city buses quit running. Apparently it was some sort of chemical that takes oxygen out of the air......or at least one of the releases, heavens knows what else was released.........lol, we will probably never be told. The containment last maybe about 5 hours.......at which time they told us it was ok to go back outside. I personally have never had anything quite like that happen to me before. Well back to family tree programs, I have tried a couple of others, generations....and one other cant recall the name of it and they all seem really good and have their own personalities......I stick with FTM mostly because of the other cd's I have, the only thing I find is that if you have someone else that wants to send you a file of FTM it wont load unless you have at least the version they have, if you try to load a lower version into a higher one it will not work. I guess that is their way of forcing you to buy the next version of their software Cathy Wagner Sarnia, Ontario
