Hi All, I am trying work more intensively on my GRANT // SUTHERLAND lineage . Donald (Daniel) Sutherland GRANT bapt. 9 Oct. 1790 in Clyne Parish d. 30 Dec. 1869 Boston,Suffolk,MA husband of Jane Catherine WASSEL of Lunenburg ,Lunenburg,NS (I have more on both for those who would like the information - will be glad to share & post) Son of John GRANT (or Wright) & Janet SUTHERLAND There seems to be a gap between Donald and the birth of other children of John and Janet . I am wondering if this is because they were (a) very young at the time of his (Donald) birth or (b) lost children in between ? I have used the database (IGI) through the SRO website : http://www.scotsorigins.com/igi-search.aspx I tried finding also marriage date & in search of parents of Janet and of John and would like to take this back further . I am grateful for the help of those who had helped me prior to this posting , as well as being able to have a great list of people to consult with. Thank -you Andrea B.
