Last week I sent a message re a William MCDONALD who emigrated to NZ in 1865. We are looking for the family that he may have come from. William MCDONALD married Janet MCKAY in Sutherland Durness,Strathy or Farr on 20 Nov 1834 William McDONALD married Mary BANNERMAN Loth Sutherland 27th Feb 1835 William McDONALD married Johan MCKAY Durness, Tongue Sutherland 30 April 1835. Can anyone give us any info as to whether any of these folk had a son William MCDONALD born approx 1835 who may have emigrated in 1865. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Joan in NZ.
