They are very badly organised and very poorly catalogued. They separate into 2 sections - very roughly pre and post 1800 (but that is not a hard and fast rule). Extracts appeared in McGill, Old Ross-shire and Scotland (2 vols about 1909 and 1911) but many of the papers laboriously transcribed by Mr McGill cannot now be found.
