    3. Hi, story needs to be a couple of A5 size pages long at least. You can take three or four if you wish. If you have any photographs they can be included by sending them to me. Where a story includes facts that you do not have official sourcing for you can say something like "according to family tradition" etc, etc. Yes, include details of the ship, kids etc. Christine Northamptonshire, England www.highlandhearts.com www.sutherlandheritage.com -----Original Message----- From: Margaret and Darren Gaven [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 01 October 2002 15:46 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [SUT] Ref OUR WEB SITE Hi! I still need to submit my story on George Henderson & Betsy Bruce who emigrated from Helmsdale to Canada with their young family in 1871 when the herring disappeared & George lost his hand made shoe customers. Actually, that is pretty well the whole story, although I can add bits. Can you remind me how long it is supposed to be & are we to put in kids names, details of what ship they came over on etc?? Can we mention things we have not had confirmed but have been told many, many times by parents & grandparents (i.e. the ship they were on encountered some sort of difficulty & the passengers all had to cross over a plank to another ship)?? Many thanks.
