Can anyone help with this: Angus GORDON, born around 1816 possibly in Farr, went ot Ontario around 1851 with a wife named Catherine and a daughter. It is possible that Angus is the son of John Gordon and Dorothy Mackay who had a child namd Angus in Farr on 4th March 1816. there is also a record of a Catherine Gordon married an Angus Gordon in Farr on 5th Feb. 1847. We know that when he reached Ontario a census record shows his children as Dorothy born 1851, William John born 1855, Alexander born 1857, Jane born 1862 and Janet date of birth not known. Can anyone confirm that Angus is the son of John Gordon and Dorothy Mackay? Any help appreciated.
