Christine, I have a book called Sutherland's County of Oxford Gazetteer and directory 1862-3. It lists all heads of families, schools, businesses temperance orders, and a little report about each place in Oxford County, Ontario of which West and East Zorra were townships. West Zorra is now just Zorra township. The book lists four Caulders as living in West Zorra at that time. They are Donald, James, John and John. All lived on the 8th Concession, either on Lot 18 or Lot 20. Donald and James are listed as plasterers. We actually own a piece of land that was a Caulder farm. Hope this helps.
