I am interested in getting in contact with anyone who is researching the Martin Family that lived in Leith, Scotland about 1840. I have been researching my grandfather John Martin who fought in the American Civil-War and came across his cousin Rose Ann Martin who married Patrick Martin in Leith about 1861 & moved to Worcester, Ma U.S.A in 1862. Rose Ann Martin would have been the daughter of the brother of Daniel Martin, (John Martin's father.) I do not know anything of that line of Martins except that my grandfather was born in County Monaghan, Ireland in 1841 & the family moved to Kelso, Scotland sometime in the mid- 1840"s Scottie Martin Southington, Ct. U.S.A.
