Hello, I have just found out that my HOGARTH line came from Kelso, Roxburgh and was wondering if anyone knew of this family. William HOGARTH was born about 1801 and was a Joiner. He married Ann? who was born in Wooler, Northumberland. I don't know if they married in England or Scotland but all but one of their children were born in Scotland before they moved to Newcastle. George HOGARTH born about 1829 Ellen HOGARTH born about 1833 Nicholas HOGARTH born about 1836 (he married Ann Dobson ADAMS 26 June, 1854 in Newcastle upon Tyne) Isabella HOGARTH born about 1839 in Newcastle upon Tyne I believe that they also had William HOGARTH born about 1820 (who married Ellen WHITFIELD 15 November 1841 in South Shields, Durham) and John born between 1830-1832 (who married Isabella DOUGLAS 1842 in South Shields, Durham). I am waiting to get in the 1841 census film to confirm whether or not these two were part of this family. Take care, Lesley
