Searching for info on Robert and Alison Webster.I have Robert b-1811 and unmarried in the 1851 Southdean census and apparently getting married 01June1874 in Edinburgh to Alison Webster.Due to the advanced age could this have been a marriage of convenience although Robert died 07July1875 in Southdean,his witness was John Waugh [I think as it is difficult to read],unable to find a death notice for Alison. regards, Jack Turnbull
