I have found on the 1914-1921 war dead an Adam Elder, Pte in the Gordon's [Died 1917] can anyone tell me how I would go about finding out more about him I believe he is a missing link in my family tree. Would the Gordon's have anything on him, I know in England Kew have some of the Records of WW1 would anywhere Scotland hold there own? Bob
Dear Bob, Try the Commonwealth War Graves Commission: they may be able to help. Their website was very helpful. Best wishes, David Richardson.
