Well, Hello, I have looking through the archives of this list for the above surnames and found information. I am researching David MONTGOMERY and Mary DOUGLAS's daughter Mary MONTGOMERY born 2 April 1825 in Yetholm. She married George LEES around 1847 and had John LEES 16 July 1853 in Ancrum, Roxburgh. Can anyone else connect with either of the LEES family or MONTGOMERY/DOUGLAS clan. Were the DOUGLAS group actually gypsies? Jocelyn Harrold PS John LEES came to Canada and had a large family and through that line, my husband born 1955.
