John Elder was born around 1734 at Hawick. He married Jane Stewart on 31 Dec 1768 also at Hawick. They had three known children, Ann, b. 1771; Walter, b. 1770 and Jane, b. 1773, all born Hawick. Ann married a Robert Henry and they had a son James in 1807. Can anyone help me with the Elder family?
