Hi If a person married in Scotland 1900, left her husband & went to Australia, remarried 1918 & on her marriage lines it state's "Not seen or heard from her Husband in 18 yrs " Would she have to get a Divorce is so would there be a copy of the Divorce Papers in Scotland. Or would the fact she had not heard nor seen her husband for 18yrs be enough to allow her to marry for the second time without a Divorce. Bob
