William RICHARDSON m Catherine RENWICK and had 4 sons born in Hawick. John 1808, Gideon 1810, Gideon, 1814, and William 1816. James was bornenroute to Canada in 1817. I suspect William is a son of John and Catherine is a daughter of Gideon Renwick, but no proof as yet so cannot delve farther into the past, Walter Richardson Barrie, Ontario, Canada
