Hi carol Are you in touch with Brenton WOOD in NZ? He is descended from Sam Wood the writer in Jedburgh at the beginning of the 19thC. Not sure if he is on this list or the Borders one. Its not a very common name in the town at the time. Judy
Hi Judy, I am not certain that I have been in touch with Brenton WOOD as my last computer crashed and I lost my contact names as well as other info! I'm not sure that we would have been related if Sam Wood was a writer as my family were mostly Master Carpenters and Joiners?
