    3. Hello Roy, All I have done so far with the line of George Armstrong (born 1803) is look at census and birth and death information online for him and as many of his children as I can follow. George Armstrong (son of the above George and born in 1851) was residing at Langburnshiels at the time of the 1891 census with his wife Annie Jane (Cowan) and their children :- George age 13 Francis age 6 William age 3 Jane age 10 interestingly they are living next door to another Cowan family possibly her elder brother and his wife.
