    3. Can't recall what you paid for it, but I saw it on the site of a book store in Kelso, ROX for about 10 pounds. Also some other things. Book stores are as bad as the CD shelves in Wal-Mart for me. MacGregor's I think. Found it while "googling". jld It finally happened. Was "googling" for Robson+Scotland and one entry was my own. It was the one I had entered on rootschat.com! That's why I haven't submitted my data to the various web sites. The only info I would get is mine.

    3. >>That's why I haven't submitted my data to the various web sites. The only info I would get is mine.<< What the hell kinda attitude is that? If it's any encouragement, I was the Lone Ranger for Reveleys for 3 years, then slowly that started changing...people started contacting me! We now actually have a Reveley List (altho I contribute 98% of the posts ;-). We are even making connections to our various family branches, and are planning the First Annual International Reveley Reunion in London in September. Keep the faith, girlfriend, and keep on contacting every website and message board you can. Make sure you put your last name on every site you contact, with alternate spellings! If you change your email address, contact them all again! Sarah Reveley in Texas researching Reveley, Reaveley, Rieveley, Revely, Reavely, et al sometimes even Reeeveeley and Rebeley and Bewley

And if you don't post/share your work, you can't have weekends like I've just had. I've had my research at Rootsweb's WorldConnect (database name killearnan, in case anyone wants to check out my Border Littles, Keddies and Arthurs, all in the Galashiels/Innerleithen/Peebles area, and to help keep the post close to on-topic) for many months (about time for an update, I've found enough new) and no had contacted me.... until this past weekend when I got 4 different emails about four widely scattered lines. And then -- just *this* morning -- I got an email based on a query to a Rootsweb list I'd done 3.4 years ago. There are times that keeping the same email address is very handy. ;-) Three of these five contacts have put little windows in some of my brick walls (the other two were just to let me know that someone else is working on the same family, but one never knows what two minds and sets of eyes will find in the future that I wouldn't find alone, esp. as in both those cases, the person who contacted me lives near where your mutual ancestors did, so they have easier access to records than I do), so I'd say posting is quite reasonable, even if I occasionally get my own postings in a Google search.
