Hi Marian, So far as possible I try to run this list without the aid of a 'big stick' such as some other listowners employ. However in order to co-exist in the manner of my rather anarchical model we need to all respect each other and be polite, or at least civil. May I suggest that if someone is trying to help you,the following is hardly the sort of response they're looking for. A simple thank-you would do fine or if you wish to be whimsical add the appropriate annotation. Please don't force me to make rules, life's too short, and anyway I've devoted my life to finding ways round them. Regards Roy Listowner. ----- Original Message ----- From: "MARIAN SCOTT" <MJSCOTT@taunt47.freeserve.co.uk> To: <SCT-ROXBURGH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, August 21, 2004 10:13 AM Subject: Re: [SCT-ROX] MI Hounam & Linton > many thanks, some one beat you to it! > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Don Asquith" <doasquith@charter.net> > To: <SCT-ROXBURGH-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Friday, August 20, 2004 11:05 PM > Subject: Re: [SCT-ROX] MI Hounam & Linton > > > > > > On Aug 20, 2004, at 2:38 PM, MARIAN SCOTT wrote: > > > > > I should be grateful if someone could check whether there are any > > > HAMILTON burials in Hounam & Linton. > > > > There is one for 3 children of Adam Hamilton, Grace, Mary and Walter > > There is one for John Hamilton and wife Janet Kinghorn > > There is one for Thomas Pender and his wife Janet Hamilton and Janet > > their daughter. > > > > Do you want any of these? > > > > Don > > > > > > ==== SCT-ROXBURGH Mailing List ==== > > Help us to improve this list by asking all your Roxburgh friends to > subscribe to 'SCT-ROXBURGH' > > > > ============================== > > Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration > > Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
