There is quite a good chart on the Kerrs if you go to www.stirnet.com and follow the prompts, although some of it is not absolutely correct, but gives you a good background to the families and includes the Duke of Roxburgh. If anyone can help me, I am particularly interested in Sir Thomas Ker of Redden (descendant of Thomas Kerr of Smailholm, 1st of Ferniehirst) who m. Jean Ker (dau of James Ker of Chatto). They had a daughter, Vair KER, b. Sprouston in 1636 who m. John HOG in 1659 in Kelso. Their children were all b. Roxburgh, Roxburgh. Any help with the HOGG family in Roxburgh, Roxburgh would be much appreciated.
