To anyone researching the name of BALLANTYNE, I am researching the descendants/ancestors of Walter BALLANTYNE who was born around 1838 in Hawick. His parents were Andrew BALLANTYNE and Helen LEITHEAD. Walter married Margaret SHANNON on 6 July 1866 in Wilton. I have had a little success using this new ROXBURGH NAMES however I am looking for more assistance. Anything received would be greatfully appreciated. Regards Andrew
