Hello Faith What timescale are we looking at here? I have a missing Andrew MITCHELL, all I know is really is that he was the brother of my ggg grandfather James MITCHELL, supposed to have been from Kelso. they had another brother called Thomas (there were a couple of Thomas MITCHELLs in Kelso around the same date he, (andrew) had a daughter who is 'buried at Repentance Tower' nr Hoddam the family had strong links with the Annan and Hoddam areas James's children were born between 1830 and 1840 WILKIE was used as a middle name for one daughter. So Andrew MITCHELL was most likely born some time around the turn of the 18th to 19thCs. not much to go on I know. Hi Judy In reply the Andrew MITCHELL I have, married Euphemia STENHOUSE on the 10 June 1867 in Inverkeithing The lady was born 26 Mar 1842 in Clackmanan. The sources were the I.G.I. Clackmanan C114326 and M114661 Nothing personal on Andrew but the date of marriage and a time frame plus an area. Good hunting. Faith Bay of Islands NZ.
