Hi Roy I haven't received any mail from this List for ages and posted a message - it seems to have floated off into the deep blue yonder. However reading Rootsweb newsletter it appears a List is down - could that be us? Found a fascinating site with the Lieutenancy Books for Roxburgh 1797-1802. The actual pages come up on your screen. The schoolmasters had to send a list of all men in their area so they could be balloted into the Army. You can print off your pages of interest and it is free. http://www.scan.org.uk/VirtualVault/Borders. Faith Bay of Islands N.Z.
