Hi Barb, Thanks for the reply. There is a 'High Crindledike' at OSGB NY382 604. Also a 'NY 375 605. I'm also advised that there is a 'Crindledike House' in Rockcliffe. There are seven listings for 'Rosetrees' in the 1851 Census for Kirk Andrews on Esk, ( near Longtown in the 1851 Census, one occupant describes himself as a cottager, so it sounds like a row of cottages. But that's as far as I've got I'm afraid. My thanks to the Cumberland list for much of this information.
