Hi Suzanne I wouldn't call it a town exactly. It is a small settlement just down the Jed from Jedburgh itself. There is a caravan park there now and a couple of old houses on the other side of the water. Not much else as far as I know but I stand to be corrected. Perhaps there were more houses there once. I am pretty sure there are pics of the old houses somewhere, possibly on the web - it was a mill or a woodcutters or something like that.
