Hi Don Thanks for taking the time to look. This couple seem to be an unbreakable brickwall. You didn't include any dates in your request, but I assume you are looking for events that are pre-civil registration (i.e., 1855). If so, have you tried the Scottish CD at a local LDS FHC? I only recently confirmed that that information was not merged with the IGI and is not available on-line, because of agreements with the Scottish government, anywhere except Origins where there is a fee for searching. If nothing else, it is important to keep in mind that, when you go to FamilySearch.org and choose to search "All Sources" or the IGI, your search does NOT include that major block of information from the parochial records that was added in 1996. Good luck, Don
Hi Roy, I sent some names a couple of days ago, did you receive them? Nan [email protected] [email protected]
Hi All, Just a reminder that if you want any names added to the list you should let me have them today. Regards Roy
Barbara Hi are you. I bet there was with a huge sigh of relief when you finished it Contrary to what is in the pages, Jen Gribble has indicated that she has no problem sending the Spreadsheet [in CSV format] attached in an email - so that is what I been asking transcribers to do. That way it reduces costs for everyone. My address for returning the microfilm is Jan Hall 1 Richard Street Brooklyn Park South Australia 5032 Australia. So after all the trials and tribulations are you interested in doing any more? Although we have come into spring Adelaide is being hit with virus strains of the 'flu' and yours truly is starting to come down with it - depending on what strain I have if you don't hear from me for a few days thats the reason. I'm hoping I'll get the mild version Jan ----- Original Message ----- From: "barbara JOHNSTON" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, September 05, 2003 4:16 AM Subject: Re: [SCT-ROX] 1841 FreeCEN Update > Jan, > > Try not to fall over with shock, but I have actually finished Oxnam 1841. > Checked it over and can't see any glaring mistake. > > Do I send the disc to you now? > > Best wishes > Barbara > > I know I have been slow but would be quite happy to do more now I have got > into it I am enjoying it -helped that I got good handwriting! > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Jan Hall" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Wednesday, September 03, 2003 2:47 PM > Subject: [SCT-ROX] 1841 FreeCEN Update > > > > The following parishes have been transferred to the FreeCEN uploading > page. Hi Everyone Does anyone happen to have the monument inscriptions for Eckford? I am trying to find Peter STORRIE and his wife Agnes STORRIE (nee Brown). Also, were the names Patrick and Peter often interchanged like Helen and Ellen were. Thanks for any help. Lori Flewwelling Ontario, Canada

I checked my other pamphlets and got a Peter Storie at Yetholm, died 1886 at 40. However, his wife was an Isabella Gibson. I assume that doesn't help, but one never knows. Don Asquith

I am interested in THORBURN. Isabella THORBURN married Thomas MITCHELL in Kelso 7 June 1831. She died in 1847. I have Thomas and the children in the 1851 census, but there were several more who died in before then. They have an MI in Kelso. What would make my day would be if Isabella came from Annan!!
