    3. Hi Louise I don't think that I can really help you at this time, but I noticed that you do have the name Kerr in your research. My Kerr is my great-great-grandmother who I was always told was "Grace Kerr who was born about 1789 and married Charles Macdonald who was born about 1792.Their son was born about 1813/14. I think that it is them in the IGI's alright. With her christening date as 6 Dec 1789 at the Abbey,Paisley,Renfrew,Scotland, and his birth in Greenoch,Renfrew,Scotland on 17 Jun 1792.Their is a marriage listed for them at the Abbey on 11 Jul 1811,but she is listed as Grizal Keir both times. Also I have found a possible birth for their daughter were she is listed as Grace Carr ! I know your Janet Kier was christened about 10 years before my Grace or Grizal was born, but possibly they were cousins. The one I have was a daughter to Alexander Keir and Agnes Craig and I have only found a sister Helen listed as well as a son Alexander.I am still trying to figure if this is the right couple by doing research at the FHC at the LDS church. If by chance any of this sounds familiar at all please let me know.Thanks.
