Robert PINKERTON b. abt 1834 Barrhead son of Gavin PINKERTON & Isabella RUSSELL other broth/sis Elizabeth, John, Marion, Gavin (rough dates of birth only for these) Robert married 3 times first marriage Agnes RENNIE b abt 1835 m.27/12/1858 1 son so far Gavin PINKERTON b.18/07/1859 2nd marr to Ann Armour m.27/11/1863 children: Archibald PINKERTON b.27/07/1864 (later married to Margaret TAYLOR) Robert PINKERTON b.27/06/1866 these are the only children for this marriage so far. 3rd marr Catherine ARBUCKLE b.21/11/1845 m.01/06/1874 children: Thomas Alexander, George Gordon, Isabella Russell. the ARBUCKLE connection is where I fit in. If anybody recognises this lot and could possibly give me any more details either sooner or later than these dates then I would be very grateful.
