I'm wondering if there is someone on the Renfrew List or the Ayrshire List who is familiar with the LDS filmings for Glasgow City Poor Relief applications. It appears that there are 174 films covering this subject, divided into 6 "districts". In the "film notes" on the LDS Family History Library Catalogue, there is no indication as to what areas these six districts comprise, i.e. I don't know if they relate to any of the actual Parishes of Glasgow ( i.e. 644/#). Does anyone on the list know? I have the death of a gtgt.grandmother at eh City Poor House in Glasgow (Central District) in April 1859, but don't know which "district #" this would be on these LDS films - and I don't want to have to order in, and look through, 174 films to find out!!!
