GLENDALE PLACE on a modern day map appears to be on the South side of Braids Road near where it meets south end of Carriagehill Drive. (1901 cens 573-1 book 17, area covered - All Braids Rd. including St. Mary's Terrace in this road, GLENDALE PLACE, Carriagehill House, Garden Nursery & Offices, Carriagehill Starchworks Offices, both sides of Carriagehill Drive, including South Park, Barnscroft, High Carriagehill, Primrose Bank, Brodie Park Lodge and all ROSEBERRY PLACE) ----------------- ROSEBERRY PLACE, also on modern day map, appears to have been between Braids Rd. & Mary St. (nearer latter) on the West side of Neilston Rd. (1901 cens 573-1 book 18, area covered - West side of Carriagehill Street from ROSEBERRY PLACE northwards, all Mary St, the west side of Neilston Rd, Mansfield Place, Bute Place, Gushet House, 59 Causeyside St, Alexandra Place, and east side of Calside to Stock St.) Please note that Neilston Rd. is now a continuous road south (from "Gushet House") to Potterhill - Carriagehill STREET was that part of it from Rowan St. southwards.
