I have used the Paisley Local Studies Library and found them to be very helpful, however, I am still awaiting a reply to a question I have asked them so don't want to burden them too much. I would be ever so grateful if you could look in the 1841 census for this family of brothers who I believe were all weavers and all born in Paisley. In the 1851 census, some of them lived on George Street, which I believe is High Parish. Alexander McNAUGHT, b. 1783 Peter McNAUGHT, b. 1786 James McNAUGHT, b. 1792 John Peter McNAUGHT, b. 1797 Walter McNAUGHT, b. 1803 They also had two sisters: Margaret McNAUGHT, b. 1789, mar.
