I have a couple of queries, James Kerr c 63yrs and his wife Margaret c 52 yrs are living with their children in Paisley, probably Storie Street or Barr street in 1851. The ages of the children on other censuses are a bit weird so confirmation of the ages given on 1851 would be really appreciated, expected children are Margaret, Bethia (or Agnes) Janet (jessie) William, Elizabeth (?) James, Hugh (Matthew). Father James came from a large family and any sighting in Renfrew especially Port Glasgow of a suitable Hutcheson Kerr Female 68 yrs, Nathaniel Kerr 58years, Hugh Kerr 57 years or William Kerr 51 years would be brilliant, though especially the last named may be one of too many. Name, age, parish, district, book, page, line James Kerr, 61, Paisley, 462, 13, 3, 9 Margaret, 53, Paisley, 13, 3, 10 Jess, 25, line12, Agnes, 20, line 14, James, 18, Line 15, Hugh, 15, Line 16, William, 23, line 17 (could William be 13 - unusual for the kids not to be in age order) Note the missing lines 11 and 13, I can't find any Kerrs there. You need to see if SKS can check the full census for you As to the rest, I can't find any that fit. Port Glasgow is Renfrew West whereas Paisley is Renfrew East but no luck on either.
