Hello Mike If you are not 'fed up to the back teeth' with doing lookups could I please ask for another one? John SWEENEY was born in Love Street, Paisley in 1857. His parents were Edward Sweeney and Agnes Hastie. I would like to know if they lived in Paisley in 1851. I can't seem to find them anywhere. On his sons wedd cert in 1888 Edward was desceased. Hi Well there doesn't seem to be any Agnes Hastie's at all There is an Edward, aged 10 with Parents Jane & John at Paisley District 466 Book 2 Page 6 lines 10, 11, 12. I would have thought he would be a bit young but boys will sometimes be boys! so a possibility There is also an Edward Sweenie, aged 23 married to Ann aged 19 with no children at Paisley, District 461 Book 1 Page 29 Lines 1 & 2 There is an Agnes Sweeney aged 40 at Greenock but she is living with Ambrose aged 55. How can I find out where this district would be? I don't know anything about 1851 census. Did they give birth place, occupation etc? Could you please look for : Henry DRENNAN b abt 1820, his wife Mary Ann nee (BARR) b abt 1821 married 1845 daughter SUSAN DRENNAN born 1848 Later Children are SOPHIA DRENNAN b 1853 m Richard WALLACE HENRY ALEXANDER DRENNAN b 1862 So there are lots missing.
