    3. Chris, Do you have a Mary Dowie marrying a Bradshaw in the early 1800s? Also a child to them with Christian name of Hugh? If so was he a miner and did the family live in Lancashire at any time? Hugh, under a different surname, later lived in Irvine, Ayr (not too far from your interests) and married a Jane Taylor in 1860. I hope that you can help.
