Hello list I am looking for the parents of John Campbell. All I have is his marr cert (10 Aug 1887 New Sneddon) Father John Campbell - shoemaker Mother Christina Mcdonald. I have no idea where they come from and there are so many Campbells and Mcdonalds. I had a likely candidate on 1881 census the ages all match as did the childrens names which were Campbells but the mother was down as a widow Christina Mcdonald.
