Hi Listers, I have just subscribed to this site and was wondering if anyone out there can help me with this family. John LOVE born in 1827 Ayrshire, Scotland parents were William Love and Ann Allen (it is believed) John married Jane McKaig on the 20th October 1846 at Middle Church, Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland, UK. John died in 1892 in Armidale, NSW Australia. 2 Of John's daughters Ann Love and Mary Love immigrated to Australia in 1864 on the Sandringham. I haven't found out when John and Jane came to Australia but there daughter Isabella McDonald was born in NSW in 1867. Jane McKaig was born in Scotland to parents Thomas McKaig and Martha Dallas. If anyone has any information on either of these families I would love to hear from you. Alternatively if any one has any suggestions on where I should look for more information it would be greatly appreciated. Sandy Avis Australia.
