Sue The RC Church in Lochwinnoch was built in 1953, prior to that worship was at St. Joseph's College which was run by the Mill Hill Foreign Missionary Society which opened in 1936 in the mansion formerly known as Garthland House. I think before that any RC's would either worship at Howwood or Johnstone or in Ayrshire at Kilbirnie. Hope this helps.
