Could a lister please tell me the name of District No 462 in the 1851 Census. I am looking for George Rennie (probably listed as a widower)and Robert aged 23, Margaret 19, Ann 17, George 11. Also in the same district his brother James, wife Margaret, Janet aged 18 and John 9. There may be another child listed. I have searched census films for 1851 unsuccessfully.....However they were listed in an index for 1851 census under the above mentioned district. Many thanks, Barbara in Australia

Barbara Is District No; different from Parish No;?? I have Parish No; 462 as being Kinross,Scotland.They have No's; from 460-464. 460-Cliesh,461-Fossoway(Tulliebole),462-Kinross,463-Orwell,464- Portmoak. Hope this helps John
