Hello Listers: I'm new on the Renfrew List and would like to post my surname interest The family I'm researching is: JOHN RICHMOND (b. at Riccarton ca. 1788) marred ANN FERGUSON (b. at Kilmarnock ca. 1797). They married at Paisley High Curch in 1814. Their children are as follows (all born at Paisley): Montgomery Richmond, b. 1816 (High Church) - died before 1838 John Richmond, b. 1817 (High Church) Ann b. 1819 (High Church) died before 1820 Ann b. 1820 (High Church) died before 1830 Robert Richmond b. 1822 (High Church) Margaret Richmond b. 1824, High Church) Charles Richmond b. 1827 (High Church) Ann Ferguson Richmond, b. 1830 (High Church)* Mary Campbell Richmond, b. 1833 (High Church) Agnes Richmond, b. 1835, (Middle Church) Montgomery Cunningham Richmond, b. 1838 (Middle Church) I am descended from Ann Ferguson Richmond and have further info on her marriage, children, grandchildren, etc. I would be most interested in hearing from anyone descended from one of the other children listed above, or anyone who has connections to any Richmonds from Riccarton; Fergusons from Kilmarnock; or Richmonds from Paisley. If anyone has access to the 1841 census for Paisley and can give me any info on this family from that census I'd be very grateful. I have the parents and 2 youngest children (Agnes & Montgomery) on the 1851 census (at Kilmarnock), and the father died there the following year. He was a weaver, but a pauper at the time of his death (approximately 64 yrs. old).
