Hi David: Mymain interest in the Lyule family is Isobel Lyle d/o David Lyle and Margaret Lang who married James Laird s/o Alexander Laird and Janet Laird 8 May 1794. at Kilmalcolm. David and Margaret were married 12 March 1763 at Kilmalcolm but I have yet to find their parents. I am also looking for the parents of MaryLyle who married James Holm 22 June 1801 at Houston but their children were all baptized at Kilmalcolm. I have another more recent Lyle family of interest. John Boyd Lyle s/o William Lyle and Christine McIntyre. ,married Grace Love Pollock d/o Walter Pollock and Mary Ann Simpson 7 June 1894 at Port Glasgow. Grace Love Pollock was my grandfather's sister. Elenore At 05:27 AM 04/15/2003 +0800, you wrote: >I have read your posting and have kept the emails concerned.
