    3. Hi Juanita, Here is the origianal address that Brian sent. When I click on the address in your email, I get an error message...when I click on Brian's version, it takes me to the correct page. I don't know the difference. Could it be a small "L"...l? Jackie Further to my last you might like to have a look at this website: http://www.mariners-l.co.uk/ HTH Brian ==== SCT-RENFREW Mailing List ==== ********************************************************************** The Renfrewshire GenWeb page is at http://www.rootsweb.com/~sctrfw/ ----- Original Message ----- From: <JuanitaPatterson@cs.com> To: <SCT-RENFREW-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, April 27, 2003 4:25 PM Subject: [Renfrew] "Mariners" web address > Someone furnished address: http://www.mariners-1.co.uk/ - I could not find a > symbol -1 except the number. 3. Hi Juanita, Web addresses were never designed to be user friendly, they are strictly for computers to hassle with!! You shouldn't ever need to work it out on your own keyboard, just click on the address I sent you, i.e.: http://www.mariners-l.co.uk/ which will take you to the site, after which you can bookmark it as a favourite. All done without you ever having to take the trouble of typing it out yourself. If you want to send it to someone else, then just use the 'copy' facility, don't try to retype it. HTH Brian
