Hello all, I am really stuck on the death of my GGGrandfather , ALEXANDER MCLEOD. He was alive on the 1851 census and dead by the 1881 census. I have searched and searched , but cannot find him. On the 1851 sensus, His address was 9 SUGAR HOUSE LANE West Greenock Alexander McLeod head Age 46 Dock Labourer Isabella Wife Age 42 Mary Dau " 16 Murdoch Son " 8 John Son " 6 And on the 1881 Isabella McLeod was a Widow and a Boarding house Keeper at 13 Crawford st Greenock. Can anyone do a look up of these census at all? If not can they be bought at all I can do look ups on the 1881 census UK and the Queensland and New South Wales BDM in Australia in return Thanking you Rose
