Hello List Can anyone tell me what a starchworker was ? I have looked on several sites for old occ. but can't find anything. Was it anything to do with the cotton mills in Paisley or something different altogether? I have an old map of Paisley and there is a Glenfield starchworks on it near to George Street which is where John CAMPBELL lived in 1891.
