    3. Please can anyone recommend a good book (with pictures) about old Paisley? My family were baker's in Sir Michael Street and I wonder whether any pictures exist of either the shop or the Swan family? Every Blessing, Christine

But my lot are of dates don't tied in with the last info yiu put on list. Names almost do. Without reading thru these , it must be one of two I have on Paisley.     3. I have a copy of 'Paisley - A History' by Sylvia Clark. Published on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Burgh Charter of Paisley in 1988. No mention of Swan, Sir Michael Street or Bakeries in the index I'm afraid. Best wishes Janet Connochie Christchurch, NZ
