On behalf of other Australians of Scottish descent I would like to apologise for the terrible email sent to this list. I am as proud of my independent minded Scottish ancestors as anyone, but I also believe that other Scots had just as fine an influence on other countries they emigrated to as they did in Australia. As for the religious hatred expressed, I guess I just have to behave as a rather well know man in the past did and forgive others as I am forgiven. I also think that this should stop, and we should get on with researching our family trees, which is the purpose of this list. Edith
